Colors of Kauai

At Kauai Beach Resort, we live colorfully. We start and end each day with vibrant, lavender skies at sunrise and sunset. The time in between is colorful too - from the foods we eat to our weekly lei-making and hula workshops. Won't you join us?

Poni (Purple)

Start your day with an acai bowl for breakfast at Naupaka Terrace. The dark purple acai berry is bursting with antioxidants and flavor to boost. Enjoy it blended and topped with fresh fruit.

Pōhuehue

While strolling on our 3-mile long beach, see if you can spot pōhuehue growing through the Naupaka. This indigenous Hawaiian plant is often found on sandy beaches. It is said that the flower was slapped on the surface of the ocean to enhance surf conditions.

Sunrise & Sunset

The magic begins each day as the sun rises from the ocean in the early morning hours and ends with a powerful show each night as it descends behind the mountains. Sunrise and sunset illuminates the sky in lavender, magenta, rich purples and vibrant pinks.
