2. Watch the sunrise at Waimea Canyon
Affectionately called The Grand Canyon of the Pacific, Waimea Canyon stretches 14 miles long, one mile wide and more than 3,600 feet deep. Get an early start and drive to the Waimea Canyon Lookout for jaw-dropping panoramic views of crested buttes, rugged crags and deep valley gorges at sunrise.
3. Kayak the Wailua River
From the coastline into the jungle, the Wailua River begs to be explored. Rent a kayak and paddle two miles into the the jungle. Once there, dock your boat and follow the trail to Secret Falls. Reward yourself with a refreshing dip under the waterfall before heading back to the Resort.
4. Make a Splash at Poipu Beach Park
For sun, surf, and sand, head south to Poipu Beach Park. Beginning surfers and boogie boarders will appreciate the calmer waves, while snorkeling enthusiasts can glimpse colorful fish just off shore. Walk miles of golden sand, build sandcastles or simply soak up the sun.
